A line of lightweight, portable infrared devices called the Thermo ScientificTM MIRAN SapphIRe Portable Ambient Analyzer can monitor the ambient air in work settings in order to identify the presence of gases.

The Thermo Scientific MIRAN SapphIRe Analyzer differs from other portable gas analyzers due to its unique wavelength generator filter architecture, which enables precise and quick wavelength selection.

A single-beam infrared spectrophotometer built into the MIRAN SapphIRe analyzer allows for precise and accurate measurement of several gases using a single device. The analysis, measurement signal processing, and absorbance value calculation will all be automated by a microcontroller. The analysis’s findings can be shown in absorbance units, parts per billion (ppb), parts per million (ppm), percent (%), or mg/m3.

The integrated rechargeable battery pack can run continuously for up to four hours. The analyzer can be powered from an AC source thanks to a separate charger/power supply included with the device. Additionally, it can be used to replenish the battery pack while the analyzer is operating normally or in offline mode.

Thermo ScientificTM ThermoMatchTM Spectrum Correlation Software and inherent safety certification are the two configuration choices available for the MIRAN SapphIRe analyzer types.

A user-defined library space for ten single-gas and ten multi-gas applications is included with the MIRAN SapphIRe analyzer. Spectral scanning can be upgraded to be utilized with ThermoMatch for field identification.
