It has a benzene-specific mode (with a range of 50 ppb to 200 ppm) and a proven photoionization sensor with an increased range in VOC mode. Combining the RAE-Sep benzene tubes, which are also offered by Frontline Safety, with a 9.8 eV lamp allows for extremely precise readings. This indicates that using sophisticated speciation techniques reduces the possibility of false alarms.

More than 200 chemicals are included in the integrated RAE Systems Correction Factors list of the UltraRAE 3000. Additionally, it features real-time wireless with an optional RAELink3 portable modem and built-in Bluetooth.
