The next-generation Raman device, the Thermo Scientific FirstDefender RMX unit, can quickly and accurately identify unknown substances, such as explosives, drugs, hazardous industrial chemicals, precursors, and more. Because of its multipurpose design, the FirstDefender® RMX device can be mounted to specific tactical robots using an integration kit, used as a handheld instrument with the fixed probe, or employed in an integrated vial mode.
