Explorer 5000 is a 1.7kg portable ED XRF analyser for rapid on-site, non-destructive analysis of alloys and elements, from magnesium to uranium. Built-in GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth. Rotatable 5″ high-definition screen with high definition camera. Includes charger and two spare hot swappable batteries each with approx. 12 hour run time. Three colour LED warning system – Green means ON; Red flashing means TESTING; Yellow flashing means instrument ERROR.

Safety protection:
Instrument does not work without a sample. Thick alloy walls and radiation shield prevent scatter and leakage. US sourced Miniature X-ray tube and premium German SDD detector. Digital MCA handles up to 500K cps.
